Abstract
Bloomsbury mews house occupies a triangular site bounded by the line of a tributary of the Fleet, now running underground and causing problems with foundations. The Post Office's Mail-Rail Tunnel also bisects the site. Special features include a staircase rising through three floors, wrapped around a cone.
