Abstract

The Leonardo Centre provides a new integrated facility for the teaching of art, design and technology for Uppingham School. The sloping north elevation has patent glazing to provide necessary daylight and has vertical bracing hidden in two partition walls. Working details of an external steel fire escape stair and cost analysis are included. Architects: CZWG.
