Abstract
Nineteenth century school in Liverpool converted to a women's training centre. Blackburne House Centre has nursery, sports and health unit, library and vocational guidance unit, teaching facilities and a cafe. A ramped bridge on the first floor ensures access for disabled throughout the building. Architects: Pickles Martinez Architects.
