Abstract
Considers the test methods to determine fire resistance of open-state cavity barriers and applies to non-loadbearing cavity barriers in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Does not apply to cavity barriers with penetration seals, or closed cavity barriers. Covers test equipment, conditions, specimen, installation, conditioning and procedure.
