Project Report PPR793 Trial of surface dressing with SAMI. Final report

Abstract

Provides results from a trial, by Moray Council, of an innovative road maintenance treatment. Instead of using an asphalt surface course overlay the council decided to trial a treatment involving a conventional surface dressing and a stress absorbing membrane interlayer (SAMI). This report describes the trial and reviews the process through literature reviews, site visits and an assessment of the surface after a year.
