Abstract

Focuses on the expansion of the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester. This project aimed to make the gallery's collections accessible to a wider range of visitors, make improvements to the use of current gallery spaces and establish a connection with the building's surroundings. Sections include: appraisal, working detail, engineer's view and client's view. Architect: MUMA (McInnes Usher McKnight Architects).
