Abstract

Provides an overview looking at the impact of recent legislation, technical development and potential hazards linked to the use of colour in design. This article then goes on to look at three projects: Meadowview, Bedfordshire (Platform 5 Architects), Carrer D'avinyó, Barcelona (David Kohn Architects), Tinderbox Espresso Bar, Spitalfields, London (Jonathan Clark Architects). Includes a Product Matrix section focussing on anti-bacterial and mould-inhibiting products and a costs section.
