Abstract
New visitor centre at Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute, Scotland. The building has timber cladding to the ground floor with a fully glazed restaurant area above. Gives working details and structural design information for the stressed-skin plywood roof, supported on two y-shaped steel columns and the glass window panels. Costs details included.
