Abstract
Keeping buildings sealed and protecting them from fire and intruders go hand in hand. In an area that has until now been largely disaster driven, amendments to fire guidance in the Building Regulations stress the need for quality tested products. In security, video telephones and digital CCTV are making dramatic inroads into crime figures.
