Abstract

Opel's new headquarters office in Russelsheim, Germany, boasts an enormous atrium, with escalators providing the main circulation route. Main entrance will be across a bridge that links to a visitor centre, almost completed. The structure is in reinforced concrete, with a raised floor in certain areas; finishes include maple and oak flooring, limestone, granite, sandstone and profiled metal. These grey and white finishes are the basis of the Opel logo; the accent yellow is provided within the landscaping scheme Includes cost information.
