Abstract
Phase 3 of the re-development of the Institute of Child Health, part of the University of London, is on a restricted site which required careful drainage and indicated the choice of concrete for the structure. Facilities include an auditorium/lecture theatre with carefully controlled acoustics, a glazed winter garden, canteen, offices and research facilities. Includes cost analysis.
